BALLISTIC JOINT STITCHING

It’s no secret that all snowboard gloves and mitts, no matter who’s making them, have a weak spot. We’re talking about that little area between the thumb and index finger that snowboarders are skilled at blowing out. We didn’t think removing the edges from our snowboards was the solution, so we developed Ballistic Joint Stitching to eliminate this blowout for good.

Buttery soft and seriously supple, our Gnar Guard genuine leather shell combines maximum comfort with ultimate weatherproof/breathability and durability. Mid-grab or full-crank, your hands will be pumped on the improved grip, feel, and flexibility.

NEWEXOS CUSTOM-MOLDABLE SUPPORT BRACE

Customize your protection for improved comfort with our NEW EXOS heat-moldable support brace, featured on the NEW Burton Richter Glove. Simply remove the brace from the glove and heat in the oven. Once it has cooled slightly, insert your hand (into the brace, not the oven!) to shape it. Hit a growth spurt or want to adjust the fit? No problem, the brace can be remolded again and again. GORE” XTRAFIT TECHNOLOGY

This internal wizardry utilizes the grip of a directional fiber lining between the backside of the glove’s shell fabric and the outside of the inner lining to prevent liner pullout when removing your hand from your glove. Insulation

PRIMALOFT INSULATION

Originally developed for the military, PrimaLoft’s extremely lightweight core structure suspends millions of air particles in a microfiber mesh. These microscopic air particles repel water while trapping heat to keep you warmer in the nastiest conditions, even after repeated washings.

DOWN FILL INSULATION

To measure its fill power, one ounce of down is placed in a cylinder, compressed, and allowed to fully loft. The cubic inches of the lofted down represent its fill power. What you really need to know is that the higher the number, the higher the insulating properties and the warmer you will feel.

THERMACORE INSULATION

Thermacore ” is legendary for its ability to crank the heat without smothering your hands with mobility-limiting bulk.

Liners/Linings

POLARTEC POWER STRETCH FLEECE

Low-bulk, super breathable, and quick drying, the Burton Polartec” Power Stretch” Fleece Liner features a unique four-way stretch that moves with you and your every move. Layer the Power Stretch liner under your gloves midwinter or rock them solo in the spring.

DRYRIDE THERMEX 4-WAY REMOVABLE, STRETCH FLEECE LINERS

For amplified warmth and versatility, nothing beats our DRYRIDE Thermex” 4-way removable, stretch fleece liners. The unique breathability and quick-drying properties of this fabric also accelerate the movement of heat-robbing moisture away from your skin and out through the shell fabric, keeping you dry from the inside out.
