Thermal

BONDED FLEECE
Joining a face or shell fabric to a fleece backing allows us to combine the comfort and style characteristics of a variety of fabrics—some with enhanced performance properties, others for style. We incorporate bonded fabrics throughout our fleece line to give you a variety of styles to choose from.

WINDSTOPPER  TECHNICAL FLEECE
This incredibly lightweight, windproof, and highly breathable membrane keeps you up to 2507o warmer than traditional insulators. Featured on the men’s Burton [ak]™ Blitzer WINDSTOPPER® Hoodie.

DOWN FILL INSULATION
To measure its fill power, one ounce of down is placed in a cylinder, compressed, and allowed to fully loft. The cubic inches of the lofted down represent its fill power. What you really need to know is that the higher the number, ‘ the higher the insulating properties and the warmer you will feel.

THERMACORE INSULATION
Thermacore™ is legendary for its ability to crank the heat without smothering your body with mobility-limiting bulk.

SoCal to Siberia multi-climate versatility. Our Midweight pieces wick moisture away from your skin while locking warmth in with efficiency. Enhanced with our antimicrobial treatment to fight stink in between washings.

DRYRIDE LIGHTWEIGHT
The Comfort of your favorite cotton T-shirt, without the negative side eflects. Its advanced moisture-wicking capabilities keep you warm and dry, while the antimicrobial finish keeps you smelling fresh all season.

COCONA WOOL
Utilizing the natural powers of recycled coconut shells, Cocona® Wool combines warmth and softness with accelerated drying performance, UV protection, and odor elimination. Unlike conventional wool, Cocona™ Wool’s technical properties will never wash off or wear out and will actually improve over the life of the garment. Featured on the men’s [ak]™ Select Shirt.

CHANNEL TECH
We worked with select fabric suppliers to develop a channeled internal grid backing on the [ak]™ Select Shirt and Pant. These channels promote airflow between your skin and the fabric for hyper-efficient breathability, keeping you drier and warmer for longer.

Requested by Jake, loved by all—we tweak the inside of the waistband so it’s super soft and chafe-free.

NEW CONTOURED WAISTBAND
Wider and more flattering for female riders, features curve-hugging softness and comfort that looks as good as it feels both on and off the mountain.

SOFTLOCK SEAMS
By eliminating overlapping fabrics, this stitch creates smooth, chafe-free seams for maximum comfort.

SOCK TECH

We utilize innovative fabric technologies and riding-specific constructions so you can forget about your feet and concentrate on stomping your next trick.

DRYSTAT
DryStat™ is a polypropylene yarn enhanced with an antibacterial agent that inhibits the growth of toe cheese to ensure a better balance inside your boots.

MICROSUPREME
Made from materials much finer than silk, MicroSupreme® provides heavyweight warmth and accelerated moisture wicking in a lightweight package.

WOOL SUPREME
For maximum heat without the annoying itch we blended the low-bulk, heavyweight warmth and accelerated wicking of MicroSupreme® with the added water-resistance and warmth of wool.

BREATHABILITY
Dry feet equal warm feet. That is why we developed fabrics that draw moisture away from your skin before your feet become cold and clammy.

FORWARD LEAN
Mirrors the natural forward lean your feet experience while riding by eliminating material from the instep.

COMFORT CONSTRUCTION
Super low-profile padding on your instep decreases pressure when your straps are cranked down tight.

ARCH AND ANKLE SUPPORT
Added elasticity and padding underneath the arch and around the ankle increases support and cushion where it matters most.

PROFILED FOREFOOT
Slightly thinner material is used underneath your forefoot to eliminate pressure points and improve fit.
